Is export really free?
Yes — every format on every tier, Free included: JSON, Markdown, plain text, OPML, XMindMark, web page, OpenDeck slides, PNG, JPEG, SVG and PDF, plus print. The tell in any subscription tool is where export sits: put it behind the paywall and the free tier stops being a trial and becomes a room with the door locked from the outside.
